Position Overview:

Key Responsibilities:
The Warehouse Order Selector plays a crucial role in ensuring the accurate and efficient selection of products within our distribution center. This position also involves preparing shipments for our valued customers.

Compensation:
Guaranteed $22/hr for the initial 60 days (performance-based expectations apply thereafter)

Schedule: 6 AM start time, 4 days of 10-hour shifts

Essential Duties:
- Retrieve selecting documents prior to the order selection process.
- Select and organize warehouse products by account and stop number as indicated by computer-generated labels.
- Ensure product descriptions match label information.
- Construct pallets in accordance with customer specifications.
- Adhere to production standards while minimizing errors.
- Use a stand-up electric pallet jack to transport completed orders to designated staging areas.
- Return completed selecting documents to the appropriate collection point as per Shipping Department guidelines.
- Perform additional warehouse tasks and special projects as assigned.
- Maintain excellent attendance.
- Follow safety protocols within the warehouse.
- Safeguard confidential company information.

Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED is required.

Preferred Skills:
- At least one year of experience in a distribution center or warehouse setting is preferred.
- Familiarity with operating powered warehouse equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks, stock pickers) is advantageous.
- Strong communication skills with internal customers and management.
- Ability to follow safe working practices as instructed.
- Capability to work independently without direct supervision.

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an associate to successfully perform the essential functions of this role.

While performing the duties of this position, the associate may be exposed to varying temperatures and outside weather conditions. Noise levels in the warehouse environment are typically low to moderate.
