Job Overview

Position: Inventory Selector

Role Summary

  • This facility is responsible for the storage and distribution of goods.
  • The Inventory Selectors will undertake the following tasks:
    • Operate an electric pallet jack to fulfill orders via a voice picking system.
    • Stack cases onto pallets.
    • Transport pallets to the designated loading area for shipment.
    • Maintain cleanliness and organization within the warehouse.

Work Schedule & Compensation

  • Working hours: 1:00 PM to 9:30 PM (Monday to Friday).
  • Flexibility to stay until tasks are completed, averaging about 45 hours per week.
  • Compensation: $19 per hour.

Required Skills

  • Minimum of 6 months experience operating an electric pallet jack, or 1 year of experience with sit-down or stand-up forklifts.
  • Quick learner, capable of mastering the electric pallet jack within a day.

Preferred Attributes

  • Willingness to work until all duties are fulfilled.
  • Physical endurance to handle approximately 130 cases per hour.

Employment Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position lasting approximately 4 months.

Work Environment

This role requires full on-site presence.

Work Conditions

  • Expect to work around 45 hours weekly, with potential for additional hours during peak periods.
  • Performance benchmarks: After a 3-week training period, the expectation is to pick around 3 pallets per hour.
  • On-site interviews and facility tours are part of the selection process.
