Behavior Consultant Job Description

Achieving True Self is seeking a highly skilled Behavior Consultant to join our team. As a Behavior Consultant, you will be responsible for conducting assessments and designing ABA treatment plans for our young clients. You will also provide training and supervision to our Registered Behavior Technicians and monitor treatment progress.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct initial and reassessment evidence-based assessments and implement individualized treatment and behavior intervention plans.
  • Assess the family's and consumer's strengths, needs, abilities, and preferences.
  • Maintain and complete data collection and treatment records.
  • Deliver exceptional, consumer-focused, evidence-based treatment through ethical interactions.

Requirements:

  • PA License as a psychologist, professional counselor, marriage and family therapist, clinical social worker, social worker, or behavior specialist.
  • BCaBA/BCBA Certification, or minimum of 1 year of full-time experience providing ABA services and 12 credits in ABA, or minimum of 1 year full-time experience providing ABA under the supervision of a BCBA, AND 40 hours of ABA training.
  • An inherent desire to train, supervise and develop new BHTs and RBTs.
  • A valid driver's license with proof of car insurance and a good driving record.
