Job Summary

As a Housekeeper at Candlewood Suites Rocky Mount, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and attractiveness of our guest rooms, hallways, and public areas. This includes daily servicing of guest rooms, stocking carts with supplies, and replenishing guest room amenities while following company standards and safety procedures.

Responsibilities
  • Approach all interactions with guests and colleagues in a friendly and service-oriented manner.
  • Maintain regular attendance and adhere to Aimbridge Hospitality standards as required by scheduling.
  • Ensure high standards of personal appearance and grooming, including wearing the proper uniform and name tag when working.
  • Comply with Aimbridge Hospitality standards and regulations to promote safe and efficient hotel operations.
  • Thoroughly clean and restock guest rooms per shift, including completing pre-cleaning duties such as setting up housekeeping carts and replenishing guest supplies.
  • Remove all trash and dirty linen from guest rooms.
  • Perform other tasks assigned by the supervisor or manager, including deep cleaning activities within guest rooms.
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent and/or experience in a hotel or related field preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to communicate effectively with guests and colleagues.
  • Ability to convey information and ideas clearly and evaluate and select among alternative courses of action quickly and accurately.
  • Ability to work well in stressful and high-pressure situations.
