This role requires a strong commitment to providing exceptional patient care in the emergency room setting, utilizing specialized skills and training unique to this unit. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting professional staff in providing patient care, adhering to National Patient Safety Goals, and maintaining population-specific competencies.
Requirements:
- Current State of Oklahoma License or Nationally Registered as an Emergency Medical Technician Basic (EMT Basic), EMT Intermediate (EMT I), or completion of junior year of accredited Nursing program, Certified AUA, or completion of Armed Services Medic Training/Certification.
- 1 year experience in an acute care or pre-hospital EMS setting, including venipuncture skills, medical terminology, and current BLS certification.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English (verbal/written).
