Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Linux Systems Security Specialist to join our team at Damco Solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Linux security, with experience in vulnerability scanning, patching, and remediation. Additionally, the candidate should have expertise in threat analysis and mitigation strategies. The successful candidate will work closely with our team to ensure the security and integrity of our Linux servers.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct regular vulnerability scans and assessments on Linux servers
Prioritize remediation efforts based on criticality and impact
Research and analyze cybersecurity threat indicators and their behaviors
Develop and implement threat mitigation strategies
Collaborate with the team to ensure the security and integrity of Linux servers

Requirements

Strong background in Linux security
Experience with vulnerability scanning and remediation
Expertise in threat analysis and mitigation strategies
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications

Experience working with Red Hat Enterprise Linux
Knowledge of Tomcat and Apache
SSL certificate management experience
Familiarity with Texas state government agencies
