About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at BayCare Health System. As a Critical Care Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care in our Cardiovascular ICU-WHH unit.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality patient care in a fast-paced ICU environment, utilizing the nursing process and clinical standards.
  • Delegate patient care activities to other members of the healthcare team as needed.
  • Monitor and record patient vitals and assessments, identifying sudden or subtle changes in a patient's medical condition.
  • Respond to medical emergencies for critical patients, utilizing your expertise and critical thinking skills.
  • Coordinate and document discharge planning and referrals to ensure continuity of care after discharge.
  • Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families, simplifying medical terminology and concepts to facilitate understanding.
Requirements
  • RN (Registered Nurse) License
  • Diploma, Associate's, Bachelor's or Higher in Nursing
  • 1-year experience in ICU in an Acute Care setting
  • BLS certification
  • ACLS certification with the American Heart Association
