Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and physically fit individual to join our Trail Crew as a Trail Crew Member. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for performing trail work in both backcountry and front country settings, working closely with a team of two to five Trail Crew Members.

Under the direction of the Trail Crew Leader, you will perform duties such as cleaning, constructing, and restoring water bars, documenting and reporting trail safety concerns, and installing erosion control devices.

You will also have the opportunity to utilize drills and other power tools for rock work, timber construction, and light carpentry projects, as well as rigging and moving heavy materials on project sites.

This is a temporary position, and duties are performed outdoors in all types of weather. Manual dexterity is needed to operate equipment and use tools.

The crew will travel from various work areas and may have access to campsites, lean-tos, or cabins, if available.
