Residential Manager Job Description

RHD is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Residential Manager to oversee the daily operations of our group home in West Roxbury. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the creation of a safe and healthy environment that fosters communication, a sense of well-being, empowerment, and support to the consumers supported by the program.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Staff Supervision: Provide front-line supervision of all site staff, including regular meetings and skill training to support staff development.
  • Programming: Develop and coordinate monthly consumer activities, respond to crisis situations, and report medical concerns to unit leadership.
  • Administrative: Manage site and consumer-related expenditures, oversee maintenance and upkeep of the physical site, and ensure timely completion of site documentation.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 5-6 years' experience working with adults with IDD/Behavioral Mental Health Diagnosis
  • High school Diploma
  • MAP (Medication Administration Program) training and certification
  • Demonstrate a strong working knowledge of RHD values and program policies and procedures
  • Valid Driver's License and personal vehicle with state minimum liability insurance coverage
