Job Title: General Radiologist – Body Imaging – Prostate MRI

We are seeking a highly skilled General Radiologist to join our team at the New York Harbor VA Healthcare System. As a key member of our imaging department, you will be responsible for interpreting a wide range of imaging exams, including CT, MRI, and ultrasound studies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Interpret general radiology examinations, including plain film and fluoroscopic studies
  • Perform and interpret diagnostic CT examinations of the chest, abdomen, pelvis, and extremities
  • Interpret MRI examinations of the chest, abdomen, and pelvis, including prostate MRI scans
  • Interpret general, vascular, small parts, and soft tissue ultrasound examinations
  • Participate in the development of new protocols and imaging techniques
  • Generate timely and accurate radiology reports
  • Communicate critical findings to clinical providers
  • Participate in quality management activities, including film quality review and peer review
  • Teach students and residents
  • Participate in research programs
Requirements:
  • Board certification in Radiology
  • Current licensure to practice medicine in any US state
  • Ability to work in a dynamic, team-oriented environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
