Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled MRI Radiographer to join our team at Penn Medicine. As an MRI Technologist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the highest quality imaging services for our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform a variety of MRI and MRA procedures, adhering to strict safety protocols and guidelines.
  • Assist radiologists with diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, providing exceptional patient care and support.
  • Obtain patient history, screen for surgeries and implanted items, and explain procedures to patients.
  • Place angiocatheters, inject IV MRI contrast agents as directed by radiologists, and operate MRI scanners and equipment.
  • Archive and verify MRI images, maintaining accurate records and ensuring high-quality imaging.
  • Perform quality assurance testing, monitoring patient status, tolerance, and wellbeing throughout procedures.
  • Establish and maintain good working relationships with colleagues, patients, and external customers.
  • Communicate equipment problems and image quality issues, ensuring prompt resolution and optimal patient care.
Requirements
  • ARRT MRI certification
  • Graduation from an approved Radiologic Technology Program/MRI
