Job Summary

This role involves handling first-party Garage Claims for Auto Dealerships and apartment complexes, including Property Damage, Business Interruption, and associated coverages and endorsements. The successful candidate will provide quality claim handling throughout the claim life cycle, ensuring compliance with internal and external quality standards and State-specific regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service and ensure file quality, timely coverage analysis, and communication with the insured based on policy information and facts or allegations of each case.
  • Directly handle assigned claims, investigating each claim through prompt contact with policyholders, accounts, law enforcement agencies, witnesses, agents, and technical experts to determine the extent of damages and contribution potential.
  • Actively engage in the identification, selection, and direction of appropriate resources for specific activities required to effectively evaluate claims, such as forensic accountants, fire or fraud investigators, and other experts.
  • Verify the nature and extent of assigned claims by obtaining and reviewing appropriate records and damage documentation.
  • Utilize evaluation documentation tools in accordance with department guidelines and a diary management system to ensure timely handling of all claims.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of Property Claims Adjusting experience.
  • Commercial property claims experience.
  • Multi Line claim handling experience preferred.
  • Understanding of franchised auto dealer operations preferred.
