Job Summary

The Village at St Edward is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Housekeeping Assistant to join our team. As a Housekeeping Assistant, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of our Assisted Living and Memory Care facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure all areas and equipment are clean, sanitary, and aseptic
  • Scour, scrub, polish, and use germicides as needed
  • Perform floor care, laundry, and other housekeeping tasks as assigned
  • Work independently with minimal supervision
Requirements
  • High School education or equivalent preferred
  • Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs independently and over 50 lbs with assistance
  • Necessary dexterity to operate levers, buttons, and machinery
  • Ability to bend, stoop, and reach at different angles
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time
  • Experience with housekeeping or a related field preferred
