We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse or Licensed Vocational Nurse to join our team at NaphCare, a leading provider of quality healthcare in the correctional industry.
Responsibilities- Take and document patient history and vital signs
- Assist with daily triage/sick call, minor medical surgical procedures and examinations and/or treatments
- Administer medications
- Perform venipuncture and I.V. therapy
- Collect samples, specimens and cultures
- Transcribe therapeutic orders
- Must be a graduate of an accredited program for practical or vocational nursing
- Hold and maintain a current, unrestricted nursing license in OR
- A valid CPR card with a minimum of 1 year clinical experience in a healthcare setting, with correctional healthcare experience preferred
- Competitive pay rates ranging from $39.00 per hour based on shift, site needs, and experience
- Full Time, Part Time, PRN shifts, and 8-13 week temporary contracts available
