Job Summary

Cedar Hills Hospital is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team in a behavioral health setting. As an LPN, you will provide safe and effective nursing care to patients, working under the direction of a Registered Nurse. This is a great opportunity to work with a multidisciplinary team to promote and restore patients' health.

Responsibilities

  • Provide nursing care to patients in a behavioral health setting, utilizing basic understanding of psychiatric and personality disorders.
  • Work with the multidisciplinary team to assess patients, plan for their care, and provide physical and psychological treatment.
  • Perform under the direction of a Registered Nurse in providing nursing care to assigned patients.

Requirements

  • Graduate from an accredited professional vocational school of nursing.
  • Minimum one (1) year of experience as a LPN in psychiatric nursing preferred.
  • Currently have an unencumbered license as a Licensed Practical Nurse through the Oregon State Board of Nursing.
  • Must pass a medication administration exam before administering medications.
  • CPR/BLS Certification.
