About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Project Manager to join our team at Fruition IT, specifically supporting our North American operations. In this role, you will work closely with our Director of Projects to drive successful project outcomes. We're looking for someone with a strong project management background and experience in project-driven environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with our Project & Controls Team on projects primarily within our North American region.
  • Participate in client commissioning and coordination meetings across various locations.
  • Analyze client specifications and electrical/control Single Line Diagrams to define clear project scopes.
  • Review third-party electrical/control schematics and prepare IO lists.
  • Address queries via our Request for Information (RFI) system.
  • Implement quality control procedures and maintain project databases.
  • Prepare technical submissions and reports for client approval.
  • Develop method statements and risk assessments for upcoming tasks.
  • Conduct site visits within our North American region to monitor progress and provide updates to clients.
  • Maintain logs of variations and change orders.
  • Compile Operation and Maintenance (O&M) manuals and prepare handover documentation.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in Electrical, Controls, or Automation.
  • PMP Certification or other PM qualifications preferred.
  • At least 3 years of experience or equivalent training with a proven track record in managing product development projects, ideally in the switchgear industry.
  • Strong skills in project management and people leadership.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead multi-functional teams and drive project success.
  • Effective collaboration and teamwork in a dynamic matrix environment with multiple stakeholders.
  • Excellent analytical, planning, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Ability to foster a team culture focused on excellence and goal achievement.
  • Strong decision-making skills, including the ability to negotiate and balance diverse priorities.
  • Capable of making timely decisions amidst risk and uncertainty.
