Maintenance Mechanic Job Description

Nature's Bakery is seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing equipment and facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on manufacturing equipment, including electrical and mechanical systems.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment issues to minimize downtime and optimize production.
  • Conduct preventative maintenance tasks to ensure equipment is running efficiently and effectively.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices to maintain a high level of technical expertise.
Requirements:
  • 2+ years of experience in a maintenance or technical role, preferably in a food manufacturing environment.
  • Strong understanding of electrical and mechanical systems, including PLCs and control systems.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve common goals.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with a focus on safety and efficiency.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
