Job Summary

This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires a strong focus on delivering exceptional customer experiences. As an Assistant General Manager at Trulieve, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire store showroom and reception team, ensuring that our customers receive the highest level of service and support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Experience Management: Assist the General Manager in planning and implementing strategies to drive service standards and positive sales results.
  • Team Leadership: Responsible for department scheduling based on business needs, and maintain an ultimate customer experience environment by leading and coaching teams to company service standards.
  • Store Operations: Oversee the daily operations of the store to ensure regulatory compliance and Trulieve's policies and procedures.
  • Coaching and Development: Partner with the General Manager to provide coaching, training, and development to the showroom team focused on company/service standards and accountability to meeting team-specific objectives.
  • Patient Support: Monitor Dispensary Associate interactions with customers, ensuring proper verbiage is being used, and handle and resolve patient issues and escalations.
  • Queue Management: Monitor queues in Waitly to ensure timely processing and identify opportunities by communicating with the team on issues, concerns, and updates.
  • Confidentiality and Security: Maintain strictest confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA guidelines and maintain good working relationships with other store operating areas as needed.
Requirements
  • Education: Minimum of an associate degree is preferred.
  • Age: Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Cash Handling Experience: Must have prior cash handling experience.
  • Management Experience: Management experience, preferably in retail and/or customer service area, is a plus.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Strong interpersonal skills, business sense, and professionalism to communicate with all levels of management and staff, ability to uphold a strict level of confidentiality and discretion.
  • Adaptability: Highly motivated, confident, high-energy; flexible and adaptable to changing priorities.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail; time-management, prioritization, and organizational skills.
  • Training and Development: Must possess the ability to train, develop, and evaluate a patient consultant team.
  • Communication Skills: Must possess excellent people skills and be able to communicate effectively with others in both verbal and written form.
  • Computer Literacy: Must be computer literate.
  • Mental and Physical Capacity: Must possess the mental and physical capacities necessary to perform the job duties.
  • Driver's License: Must possess a valid driver's license and a clear driving record.
  • Background Check: Must be able to pass a comprehensive background record check and drug screening.
Additional Minimum Qualifications

Must be able to move intermittently throughout the workday. Must be able to see and hear or use prosthetics that will enable these senses to function adequately to ensure requirements of this position can be fully met. Must function independently, and have flexibility, personal integrity, and the ability to work effectively with residents, personnel, and support agencies. Must be able to relate to and work with ill, disabled, elderly, emotionally upset, and at times hostile people in the facility.

Must be able to push, pull, move, and/or lift a minimum of 25 pounds to a minimum height of 5 feet and be able to push, pull, move, and/or carry such weight a minimum distance of 50 feet, with or without mechanical assistance.

Physical Requirements

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is:

  • constantly required to move/traverse throughout entire facility, including confined spaces; accurately communicate and exchange sensitive information and ideas with others, including members of the public; observe/inspect details at varying ranges; operate computing devices;
  • frequently required to manipulate objects of varying sizes and weights (e.g., product, packaging, tools, office machinery); push/pull objects up to 50lbs; lift/carry/position objects up to 50lbs; ascend/descend stool/ladder/steps; position self and/or objects at floor level (e.g., crouch, stoop, kneel, crawl);
  • occasionally required to remain in a seated position.
