About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Healthcare Administrator to join our team at The Waters of Hobart. As the Executive Director of Healthcare Operations, you will be responsible for driving business growth and overseeing the day-to-day operations of our skilled nursing facility.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operational Leadership: Provide strategic direction and leadership to ensure the smooth operation of the facility, including managing labor costs, payables, and receivables.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, including the CMS Five Star Ranking System, and maintain a working knowledge of all governmental regulations and company Quality Assurance Standards.
  • Staff Management: Supervise, train, and develop staff to ensure high morale and retention, and manage turnover to maintain adequate staffing levels.
  • Marketing and Business Development: Develop and implement a marketing strategy to maximize census, payor mix, and ancillary revenues, and lead key marketing staff in carrying out the marketing plan.
  • Community Relations: Develop positive relationships with government regulators, families, and the local healthcare community.
  • Quality Assurance: Manage and be responsible for the facility Quality Assurance Program and ensure compliance with the program.
Requirements
  • Education: Current Health Facility Administrator license in Indiana and a BS Degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Practices, or Clinical Field is preferred.
  • Experience: Possesses a minimum two (2) years applicable management or comparable experience in a long-term care/skilled nursing setting is preferred.
  • Skills: Strong knowledge of state, federal, and local regulations as they pertain to long-term care, and excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
