Cherry Picker Operator/Picker

Ursitti Enterprises LLC is seeking a skilled Cherry Picker Operator/Picker to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for safely operating elevated work platforms to perform various tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate cherry pickers to raise, lower, and maneuver platforms to required heights while adhering to safety protocols.
• Ensure strict adherence to safety regulations and best practices, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Assess work areas and equipment prior to operation, identifying potential hazards and addressing them accordingly.
• Position and stabilize cherry pickers on level ground to prevent tilting or instability.
• Communicate effectively with team members on the ground, providing necessary instructions and updates during tasks.
• Perform routine inspections and basic maintenance tasks on cherry pickers, such as checking fluid levels and reporting defects.
• Understand weight limitations and load capacities to ensure safe operation and prevent overloading.
• Troubleshoot minor issues that may arise during operation, such as mechanical problems or communication difficulties.

Qualifications:

• Previous certifications or licenses required to operate a cherry picker or aerial lift.
• Comprehensive training on the safe operation of cherry pickers, including equipment controls and emergency procedures.
• Physical fitness and agility to work comfortably at heights for extended periods.
• Strong commitment to safety, with a clear understanding of safety procedures and regulations.
• Effective communication skills to coordinate tasks with team members.
• Basic mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor equipment issues.
• Keen attention to detail to identify potential hazards and execute tasks accurately.
