Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Training Delivery: Develop and deliver training programs for wind turbine technicians and engineers, focusing on technical engineering courses and hands-on training.
  • Technical Expertise: Stay up-to-date with the latest wind turbine technologies and industry developments, and apply this knowledge to training programs.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including instructors, engineers, and operations staff, to ensure seamless training delivery and effective knowledge transfer.
  • Assessment and Evaluation: Embed assessment and evaluation throughout training programs to measure learning effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
  • Process Improvement: Continuously strive for improved quality and efficiency in training delivery, identifying opportunities for process enhancements and implementing changes as needed.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, IT, Computer Science, or a related technical field from an accredited college or university.
  • Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in power generation operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting, or equivalent experience in a related field.
  • Skills: Strong technical knowledge of wind turbine systems, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work effectively in a team environment, and proficiency in MS Office 365 products.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with GE WTG platforms: Familiarity with GE wind turbine platforms, including 1.x, 2.X, 3X, Cypress, Sierra, and Hal X.
  • Wind farm site experience: Experience working on wind farm sites, including climbing wind turbines and working at height.
  • Language skills: English fluency and proficiency in additional languages, particularly with technical explanations.
Benefits

GE Vernova offers a competitive compensation package, including a base salary range of $78,800 - $131,300 USD Annual, plus variable incentive compensation of 10%. The company also provides a comprehensive benefits package, including healthcare, retirement, and tuition assistance programs.
