As a CRNA at UPMC, you will have the opportunity to work with a multidisciplinary team of leading surgeons, anesthesiologists, and healthcare professionals who are committed to delivering exceptional patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer anesthesia and related care for patients undergoing surgical procedures
- Monitor patients' reactions to sedatives and anesthetic agents and inform the anesthesiologist of any adverse conditions
- Assist with the teaching and evaluation of newly hired CRNAs, GRNAs, and SRNAs
- Participate in the Quality Improvement (QI) process through documentation, incident reporting, evaluation, education, and implementation
