We are seeking a skilled Ultrasound Technologist to join our team at LewisGale Medical Center. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for preparing patients, collecting relevant information, and performing sonographic exams following established protocols.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare patients for exams, ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the process.
- Collect and analyze relevant patient information to facilitate accurate diagnoses.
- Operate ultrasound equipment to capture high-quality images, adhering to established protocols and guidelines.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient exams, including images and diagnostic results.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of employment.
- Registered or registry-eligible by RDMS or ARRT.
- Two to three years of experience as a Radiologic Technologist or Sonographer, including two years in a hospital setting.
- ARDMS eligibility or certification preferred.
- Associate Degree.
