We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Facility Technician to join our team at 24 Hour Fitness. As a key member of our facilities team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the cleanliness, safety, and overall quality of our clubs.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct daily walk-throughs to identify and address maintenance needs, maintaining accurate records of repairs and maintenance.
- Collaborate with the General Manager and Assistant General Manager to prioritize and coordinate maintenance activities.
- Perform routine preventative maintenance, including upkeep of associated logs and history files.
- Ensure proper operation of all club areas and equipment, including the pool, spa, steam room, and sauna.
- Procure repair parts, materials, tools, and equipment as needed.
- Model OSHA and company safety guidelines, performing monthly safety checks as required.
- Provide exceptional customer service, connecting with members to enhance their club experience.
- General experience in repair and maintenance of equipment and physical buildings.
- Knowledge of HVAC and/or electrical equipment.
- 2 years' experience in operations/maintenance preferred.
- Excellent organizational, multi-tasking, analytical problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Demonstrated success in priority management and agility in responding to shifting priorities.
- General understanding of computer skills, including email.
- Previous experience in health club maintenance strongly preferred.
- Availability for overtime work and reliable transportation.
This role requires the ability to work in an environment with occasionally high noise levels and regular exposure to moving mechanical parts. Daily duties include lifting weights, squatting, bending, reaching, and moving for prolonged periods. Regularly exposed to pool chemicals, cleaning supplies, and grease/oil from cardiovascular equipment.
