Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Imaging Technologist to join our team at Fort Sanders Regional Medical Center. As a Senior Imaging Technologist, you will be responsible for performing complex radiographic procedures, maintaining radiation safety standards, and providing exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine and difficult diagnostic imaging procedures using technical expertise of equipment and procedure protocols.
  • Collaborate with patients' clinical history to ensure accurate documentation and availability for licensed independent practitioners.
  • Adhere to HIPAA guidelines for patient confidentiality and maintain accurate informed consents.
  • Assist licensed independent practitioners with interventional procedures, including time outs according to policy.
  • Perform venipuncture, start and maintain intravenous access as prescribed by licensed independent practitioners.
  • Practice aseptic technique and apply universal precautions at all times.
Requirements
  • Must be sufficient to meet the standards for achievement of the ARRT (R) license and/or certification.
  • Two (2) years diagnostic imaging experience; must be proficient in all fluoroscopy and specialized exams, including surgery imaging exams.
  • State licensure in accordance with Tennessee guidelines.
