Job Summary

Westhab Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Social Worker - LMSW to join our team. As a key member of our Services Division, you will be responsible for coordinating mental health and substance abuse services for families with children in our homeless shelter.

Key Responsibilities
  • Case Management: Develop and implement treatment plans for high-risk families with children, ensuring their psychosocial needs are met.
  • Mental Health Workshops: Facilitate weekly mental health and substance abuse workshops, as well as onsite support groups for clients.
  • Community Resource Referrals: Identify and connect clients with community resources, governmental agencies, and other services.
  • Treatment Planning: Independently assess clients' psychosocial functioning and needs, formulating and implementing treatment plans.
  • Consultation Services: Provide consultation services to staff on clients' psychosocial needs and the impact of psychosocial problems on healthcare and treatment compliance.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain, review, and sign off on all required documentation and reports, submitting them in a timely manner.
Requirements
  • Education: Master's degree in Social Work from a Council on Social Work Education (CSWE) accredited school.
  • Experience: At least two years of experience in specialized social work practice.
  • Language: Fluency in Spanish is highly desirable.
