We are seeking a highly skilled Physical Therapist I to join our team at NYU Langone Health. As a Physical Therapist I, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our physical therapy department.
Key Responsibilities:
- Examination and Assessment: Conduct thorough examinations and assessments of patients to identify their physical therapy needs and develop effective treatment plans.
- Care Planning and Treatment: Develop and implement individualized care plans that meet the unique needs of each patient, and provide evidence-based physical therapy interventions to promote optimal patient outcomes.
- Documentation and Communication: Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of patient care, and effectively communicate with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Education and Supervision: Participate in the education and supervision of students and new staff members, and contribute to the development of clinical education programs.
- Productivity and Quality: Meet productivity and quality standards, and participate in performance improvement activities to enhance patient care and departmental operations.
Requirements:
- Education: Graduate of a professional degree program in Physical Therapy.
- Experience: 0-1 years of experience as a Physical Therapist in a hospital or healthcare setting.
- Licensure: New York State License or eligibility in Physical Therapy.
- Certification: CPR certification.
