KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Deliver exceptional service to members and contribute positively to team dynamics.
  • Gain a thorough understanding of credit union products and services to assist members effectively.
  • Engage with members regarding overdue accounts, documenting commitments and scheduling follow-ups.
  • Communicate with co-signers of overdue accounts as necessary.
  • Take appropriate action on returned mail that cannot be delivered.
  • Draft correspondence for accounts requiring special attention.
  • Conduct skip-tracing for accounts following established protocols.
  • Investigate discrepancies in delinquent account balances and rectify any errors.
  • Promote additional products and services when suitable.
  • Maintain confidentiality regarding member transactions and sensitive information.
  • Adhere to all credit union policies and regulations.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience in customer service roles.
  • At least six months of relevant experience or training, or a combination of education and experience.
  • Proficiency in multiple languages, including Spanish, is advantageous.
