Job Overview

Krutilla & Associates Inc is a dynamic CPA firm located in Walnut Creek, focusing on tax and advisory services for a diverse range of large and mid-sized clients. Our clientele includes real estate opportunity funds, investment trusts, homebuilders, technology firms, professional service organizations, and affluent individuals.

We are looking for qualified candidates to prepare tax returns on a seasonal, full-time, or part-time basis. Full-time employees may be required to work some overtime, while part-time employees typically do not, and seasonal employees' schedules vary throughout the year.

Key Responsibilities
  • Preparation and/or review of Individual and/or Trust tax returns
  • Perform accounting calculations necessary for tax return preparation and quarterly estimates
  • Conduct online tax research
  • Enhance general technical and tax planning skills
Qualifications
  • Minimum GPA: 3.2
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (including Word and Excel)
  • Basic understanding of accounting principles
  • CPA/EA certification or actively pursuing CPA/EA exam preferred
