Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Physical Therapist to join our team at Concentra Medical Centers. As a Physical Therapist, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional care to our patients and helping them achieve their maximum physical potential.

About the Role

This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity for a motivated and compassionate Physical Therapist who is passionate about delivering high-quality patient care services. You will be responsible for providing rehabilitative services to disabled, injured, and diseased patients within the center.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. You will also be required to maintain professional standards through compliance with quality assurance policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care, including evaluation of muscle, skeletal, neurological, and other physical problems
  • Design and implement specific physical therapy treatment programs for patients to facilitate their recovery and attainment of maximum physical potential
  • Perform or delegate patient treatment to include modalities, therapeutic exercises, gait training, and hydrotherapy
  • Educate patients in the proper care and use of supports and performance of exercise programs
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, including progress notes and treatment plans
  • Work closely with physicians to ensure comprehensive delivery of services and quality patient care
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited Physical Therapy program
  • Possession of current licensure and certification as a Physical Therapist
  • Customarily 5 years of demonstrated experience in an orthopedic setting with use of modalities, therapeutic exercises, and isokinetic equipment
