About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Behavior Intervention Specialist to join our growing team. As a key member of our multidisciplinary treatment team, you will provide direct behavior therapy services to individuals with autism, working closely with families and colleagues to establish an environment supportive of treatment and education.


Responsibilities
  • Attend Cortica's orientation and complete Cortica's Board Certified Autism Technician (BCAT) training
  • Implement positive behavior strategies as developed and analyzed with the Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
  • Work in various settings with children and their families providing direct behavior-analytic care as determined in the child's assessment and treatment plan
  • Fulfill all documentation requirements, including data collection and session notes
  • Assist with individualized assessment procedures through preference assessments and data collection

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a human service field or related field; candidates with relevant work experience may be considered
  • Currently registered as a Registered Behavioral Technician (RBT) or willing to obtain the BCAT credential via Cortica's training program
  • Valid California Driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Experience working with children, preferably those with autism

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $23.99 - $31.00 per hour, commensurate with experience. Our benefits package includes medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) plan with company matching, paid holidays, and wellness days.
