At Groups Recover Together, our Counselors are essential to our mission.
If facilitating group therapy is your passion, this position is tailored for you. As a Counselor, your primary focus will be on this vital aspect of care. At Groups, we strive to redefine industry norms. You will not be expected to manage every element of care for your clients independently.
In addition to the chance to make a significant impact in the lives of our clients, as a Counselor, you will be a crucial part of a collaborative care team that includes prescribers, care navigators, peer recovery coaches, and administrative staff.
This team collaborates to provide comprehensive care based on the principle that counseling, medication, and community support are fundamental to achieving lasting recovery.
Some of the primary duties of this role include, but are not limited to:- Lead the treatment team and serve as the authority on addiction and recovery, coordinating treatment decisions for clients.
- Manage a schedule and caseload that meets the needs of the office and region while enhancing your clinical skills.
- Collaborate with other team members regarding the clinical service model.- Facilitate 2-3* one-hour group therapy sessions that cultivate recovery skills and build community through our established curriculum.
- Document client progress using outcome measures (Core Milestones) and client feedback (NPS scores).
- Actively engage in community outreach initiatives.

An active IN
behavioral health license including but not limited to:
LCSW, LMHC, LMFT, LCAC,
associate level licensure
Demonstrated compassion, collaboration, commitment to quality care, and dedication to client success.
Ability to work 2-3 evenings per week until 9pm as needed.
Other preferred backgrounds, experience, and skills include: mental health, social work, substance use disorder treatment, therapy, human services, social services, medication-assisted treatment or MAT.
