Preschool Teacher Opportunity

At the Raritan Bay Area YMCA, we are seeking a certified Preschool Teacher to join our team at the Y's Learning Center. The ideal candidate will have a New Jersey P-3, CE, or CEAS certification and experience teaching Pre-K children ages 3 to 5 years old in a daycare setting.

Job Summary

Under the direction of the Preschool Director, the Preschool Teacher will be responsible for delivering a high-quality educational experience to children and families using the Creative Curriculum. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with a Teacher Assistant to provide a nurturing and engaging environment for our young learners.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement lesson plans aligned with the Creative Curriculum
  • Provide a safe and inclusive learning environment for children
  • Collaborate with the Preschool Director and Teacher Assistant to meet the needs of children and families
  • Communicate effectively with children, families, and colleagues
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Early Education or related field
  • New Jersey P-3, CE, or CEAS certification
  • Previous experience teaching Pre-K children ages 3 to 5 years old in a daycare setting
