Position Title: HVAC Service Technician

Position Summary: The HVAC Service Technician plays a crucial role in the installation, maintenance, and repair of air conditioning and ventilation systems, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, maintain, and repair commercial HVAC systems and associated equipment.
  • Assess and identify maintenance risks on HVAC equipment.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues in HVAC systems, including rooftop units, heat pumps, boilers, and chillers.
  • Conduct troubleshooting of building HVAC control systems.
  • Perform emergency repairs in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Maintain accurate daily logs and records of all maintenance activities.
  • Adhere to service standards, work instructions, and customer specifications.
  • Provide mentorship and training to apprentices.
  • Participate in on-call rotations as required.
  • Complete safety training as assigned and adhere to all safety protocols, including personal protective equipment (PPE) policies.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience is preferred.
  • A valid driver's license is required.
  • Experience with commercial HVAC systems is essential.
