Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Cardio Invasive Specialist-Lead to join our team at Presbyterian Hospital in Albuquerque, New Mexico. As a key member of our cardiovascular lab team, you will be responsible for providing supervision and support to technical and patient care functions during diagnostic and interventional procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and support technical and patient care functions during diagnostic and interventional procedures
  • Assist the Department Manager in coordinating department clinical subspecialty area(s) operations or cardiovascular hemodynamic recording, reporting, and documentation systems
  • Provide clinical and operational leadership, staff scheduling, patient flow, and clinical and regulatory compliance to policy and procedures
  • Maintain and report Heart Program data or financial/revenue cycle activities
Requirements
  • Associates Degree in Invasive Cardiovascular / Cardiopulmonary Technologist program, Radiology, Respiratory therapy, Paramedic; Plus 4 years of adult cath lab diagnostic and interventional procedure experience
  • 3 years of additional experience can be substituted in lieu of degree
  • RCIS or RCES required
  • BLS REQUIRED AT TIME OF HIRE, ACLS (PALS is only required at Presbyterian Downtown) is required within the first 6 months
