Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist / Electrophysiology Technologist to join our team at ALLIED Presbyterian Hospital. As a key member of our cardiovascular team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and technical support in the Cardiac Catheterization and Electrophysiology Laboratories.

Responsibilities
  • Technical Expertise: Provide technical support for adult cardiac catheterization, cardiac devices, electrophysiology, and structural heart procedures.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Ensure accurate and complete documentation of patient information, medication charges, and procedural case loads.
  • Administrative Tasks: Perform administrative duties such as ordering supplies, maintaining inventory, ensuring equipment maintenance, and lab cleanliness.
  • Preparation and Compliance: Prepare procedure rooms and ensure compliance with PHS, local, and federal regulations.
Requirements
  • Education: Associates Degree in Invasive Cardiovascular, RN program, radiology, or respiratory therapy.
  • Experience: 2 years of experience in Cardiac Cath Lab and EP Lab, with a minimum of 3 years of adult Cath lab diagnostic, interventional, or EP procedures.
  • Certifications: RCIS/RCES, BLS, ACLS, and PALS.
  • Skills: Strong knowledge of cardiovascular anatomy, physiology, disease processes, and principles of cardiovascular diagnostic and interventional technology.
Work Environment
  • Shifts: 7am - 5pm, with flexibility to adjust to department staffing needs.
  • On-Call: May be required to work on-call, weekends, and holidays.
  • Travel: Traveling pairs are not guaranteed the same schedules or shifts.
