Job Summary
Insight Global is seeking a contract Building Engineer to conduct maintenance and corrective repair of buildings, equipment, and grounds at a commercial facility. Responsibilities include creating work orders, inspecting HVAC systems, and overseeing minor electrical work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on building systems, including HVAC, electrical, and plumbing
- Inspect and test equipment to ensure proper functioning
- Respond to emergency situations and perform repairs as needed
- Oversee minor electrical work and ensure compliance with safety regulations
- Collaborate with facility management to develop and implement maintenance schedules
Requirements:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- 3+ years of building/facility engineer experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- CFC or Electrical Certification (nice to have)
- Experience with a BMS (building management system) (nice to have)
