We're seeking a skilled Staff Project Manager to spearhead the development and construction of our utility-scale projects, leveraging their expertise to deliver world-class solutions that transform the energy landscape.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive Business Growth: Drive business growth by developing and executing comprehensive project strategies that meet customer demands and exceed expectations.
  • Lead Cross-Functional Teams: Lead cross-functional teams, fostering collaboration and communication among project teams, stakeholders, and external partners.
  • Ensure Quality and Safety: Ensure adherence to quality and safety standards across all project aspects, promoting a culture of excellence and best practices.
  • Manage Site Operations: Manage site construction, QA/QC processes, and health and safety programs while ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Coordinate Stakeholder Engagement: Coordinate engagement with various stakeholders to ensure holistic project management from development engineering through commercial operation.
  • Negotiate Contracts and Agreements: Negotiate prime, CM, and subcontract agreements, manage change orders, and direct project turnover documentation.

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of experience in project management or site operations, specifically within power generation, distributed energy resources, or utility-scale facilities greater than 10 MW.
  • Demonstrated expertise in Power Generators operation and maintenance or similar systems, with experience across all phases of development.
  • Detailed understanding of contracting, procurement planning, construction and logistics, scheduling, estimating, and budgeting.
  • Delivery and execution of project plans, writing RFPs, leading procurement activities, and negotiations.
  • Ability to utilize industry tools to track cost expenditures and budget allocations.
  • Ability to travel to job sites up to 25% of the time.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, Project, PowerPoint), Google workplace applications, and Project Management software (Procore).
  • Strong written/verbal communication skills, analytical and problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to handle large volumes of work and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

Salary Range: The Bay Area salary range for this role is $132k-$165k base + bonus + pre-IPO stock options + benefits. Adjustments will be made to reflect local market conditions and employee experience.
