**Taproom Host Position at Alternate Ending Beer Co.**

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Taproom Host to join our team at Alternate Ending Beer Co. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where you will be responsible for creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere for all our guests.

**About the Job:**

  • Greet customers as they enter the restaurant, show them to their tables, and ensure a smooth dining experience.
  • Answer phone calls, take and confirm reservations, and provide excellent customer service.
  • Support other FOH staff as needed, maintaining a positive and collaborative team environment.
  • Maintain a neat and organized host stand, ensuring merchandise is fully stocked and displayed neatly. Assist guests with merch purchases and provide information about our products.
  • Assist with Doordash and to-go pickups, ensuring timely and efficient service.
  • Serve as an information hub for guests, providing knowledge about our brewery, upcoming events, menus, and beer offerings.

**Requirements and Qualifications:**

  • Flexible hours are required, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Knowledge of menu items, including beers, wines, and food.
  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with POS systems.
  • Cicerone Level 1 certification is recommended but not required.
  • Able to tolerate pressure and work calmly and efficiently during busy times.
  • Excellent service attitude, willingness to go out of your way to accommodate guests, and enthusiasm for the job and Alternate Ending.
  • Considerate, patient, and willing to help fellow employees.
  • Courteous, friendly personality, and professional appearance.
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.

**Physical Requirements:**

  • Must be able to stand/walk for 8 hours; bend, push, pull; lift 25-50lbs.
  • Frequently stands, walks, talks, and hears; uses hands, reaches with hands and arms; occasionally sits, climbs, balances, stoops, kneels, crawls, crouches.
  • Occasionally works in outdoor weather conditions.
  • Noise level is moderate.

**Compensation Package:** We offer a competitive salary range of $ $$40,000 - $55,000 per year**, depending on experience and qualifications.
