Referral and Intake Coordinator

The Referral and Intake Coordinator plays a crucial role in the In-Home Therapy (IHT) and Therapeutic Mentoring (TM) Programs at Universal Health Services. This position is responsible for managing the intake and referral process, ensuring seamless coordination between various stakeholders, and maintaining strong relationships with community resources.
Key Responsibilities- Intake and Referral Management: Coordinate all aspects of the admissions process, including assigning cases to clinicians, conducting telephone referrals, and making determinations regarding admission.
- Insurance Authorization and Management: Obtain and manage insurance authorizations for the IHT and TM programs, addressing any issues that arise and ensuring timely submission of additional unit requests.
- Community Outreach and Partnerships: Develop and maintain professional relationships with community resources, strengthening and expanding referral sources for the IHT/TM programs.
- Administrative Support: Assist the administrative team with various tasks, including reviewing billing and paperwork submissions, compliance initiatives, filing, and tracking data.
- Master's Degree: In Social Work, Counseling, or a related field.
- Licensure: LCSW, LICSW, LMFT, or LHMC, or eligible.
- Experience: Preferred experience within CBHI.
- Technical Skills: Proficient with Microsoft Office tools.
