This role is integral to the Finance and Revenue Cycle Operations team, reporting directly to the VP of Finance and the Senior Director of Revenue Cycle Operations. The Revenue Cycle Management Specialist will engage in various essential functions aimed at enhancing operational efficiency and effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities:
1. **Strategic Process Improvement:** Drive initiatives that enhance operational workflows and revenue cycle processes.
2. **Project Management:** Oversee complex projects, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and stakeholder expectations.
3. **Analytical Support:** Provide detailed analysis to Revenue Cycle Managers and Directors regarding staffing, revenue opportunities, denial management, and productivity metrics.
4. **Payer Relations Oversight:** Manage all issues related to payer relations, including the compilation of affected claims and modeling revenue impacts.
5. **Communication Facilitation:** Ensure effective communication with all parties involved, including Managed Care contracting and Revenue Cycle Operations leadership.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in administrative roles or project management is required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word and Excel, is essential.
Work Environment:
- This position is based on-site and requires full-time commitment, with a standard workweek from Monday to Friday.
