Position Summary: The Cashier is responsible for delivering friendly, efficient, and precise customer service to guests and colleagues during transactions involving chip cashing, check cashing, and simple exchanges. This role is ideal for those who thrive in a public-facing environment and can manage multiple tasks effectively.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Exhibit integrity, honesty, and knowledge that reflect the culture and values of Maverick Gaming LLC.
  2. Maintain composure during peak times to ensure smooth operations and set a positive example for the team.
  3. Provide outstanding guest service by fostering a positive and friendly atmosphere and engaging with every guest.
  4. Adhere to company policies and procedures, particularly regarding cash handling and safety protocols.
  5. Ensure consistent delivery of fresh, quality products by following all standards for product rotation, food safety, and presentation.
  6. Follow safety guidelines in all tasks.
  7. Maintain regular and punctual attendance.
  8. Encourage teamwork and assist colleagues as needed throughout the shift.
  9. Present a clean and professional appearance by wearing the designated uniform and name badge at all times.
  10. Keep the checkout area clean and organized.
  11. Greet customers as they enter the establishment.
  12. Utilize suggestive selling techniques to enhance store sales and improve guest satisfaction.
  13. Comply with all state and federal regulations regarding the sale of gas, alcohol, and tobacco.
  14. Count cash drawers at the start of each shift to verify amounts and ensure sufficient change is available.
  15. Process payments via cash, check, credit cards, vouchers, or automatic debits.
  16. Issue receipts, refunds, credits, or change to customers as required.
  17. Conduct monthly inventory on the first of each month.
  18. Complete daily operational checklists as assigned.
  19. Perform related duties as necessary.

Qualifications:
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Ability to learn quickly and follow instructions.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team.
  • Demonstrate honesty and integrity.
  • Participate in ongoing training as required.

Working Conditions: This position involves various shifts, including weekends and holidays. The role requires the ability to lift up to 50 pounds and involves bending, stooping, walking, and standing for extended periods.

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

Supervision: Reports to the Mobil Manager.

Compensation: $12 per hour
