Key Responsibilities

  • Team Leadership
    • Build and develop a high-performing team by guiding, supporting, and empowering your crew members and shift leaders.
    • Maintain a positive working relationship with all restaurant staff, fostering a cooperative and pleasant working climate that promotes employee morale, productivity, and efficiency.
  • Operations Management
    • Hire, train, and develop shift managers and conduct formal employee performance reviews.
    • Ensure the team is equipped to provide an excellent guest experience in all areas, including food quality, service, and cleanliness.
    • Utilize the restaurant's profit and loss statement to optimize sales and profit by analyzing COGS and taking corrective action if necessary.
    • Maintain inventory, project changes in demand throughout the year, and adjust labor accordingly.
    • Ensure the restaurant is properly staffed to drive sales volumes, prepare crew members' schedules, and approve schedules completed by assistant managers to meet staffing requirements and labor goals.
  • Customer Service
    • Personally respond to customer complaints, taking prompt and appropriate action to resolve problems and ensure customer satisfaction.
    • Identify areas for improvement as a team and implement changes to enhance the customer experience.
  • Marketing and Sales
    • Organize and implement local restaurant marketing initiatives, incorporating regional and national marketing promotions to increase restaurant sales.
  • Reporting and Decision-Making
    • Exercise good judgment in decision-making and report issues to the district manager.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of restaurant management experience, with quick service restaurant experience strongly preferred.
  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Candidates should have a strong sense of urgency, thrive under pressure, and have the ability to motivate their team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong customer service skills, as well as the ability to adapt and engage with a diverse crew members and wide range of customers.
  • A proven track record of effective management, demonstrated by previous COGS and labor experience.
  • Successful candidates will be detail-oriented and have the ability to oversee and balance all aspects of a fast-paced and dynamic restaurant.
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 50 pounds.

  • Salary: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year (based upon experience)
