Overview
Helios Defense Solutions, LLC is actively seeking a dedicated and skilled Tactical Combat Training Specialist to join our team on a contract basis. This role involves delivering Combative and Functional Fitness Training in accordance with established guidelines.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate flexibility and creativity in scheduling to optimize both cost-efficiency and performance outcomes. This position reports directly to the Lead Combat Instructor and requires a high level of adaptability to manage varying workload demands, respond promptly to urgent tasks, and exhibit exceptional problem-solving skills.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct training sessions for service members on Levels 1 and 2 Combatives.
- Travel as necessary to support a Combat Training Team.
- Facilitate group fitness classes aimed at enhancing both aerobic and anaerobic conditioning through complex, multi-joint movements.
- Continuously improve training processes and content to enhance project effectiveness.
- Provide regular updates on project status and effectiveness.
- Work onsite during standard business hours, Monday through Friday.
- Travel as needed for meetings and training sessions.
Required Qualifications
- Must be a US Citizen.
- US Army Combatives Master Trainer Certification.
- Proven experience in instructing and training Levels 1 and 2 Combatives.
- Familiarity with combat operations tactics and procedures.
- Certification in at least one of the following areas: Personal Trainer, Group Fitness Instructor, Sports Conditioning, or Strength and Conditioning, accredited by recognized organizations.
- Physically capable and prepared to operate in field environments.
- Successful completion of a National Background Check.
