Key Responsibilities:- Support veterinarians in delivering high-quality care, advocating for pets, and educating clients.
- Assist with hospital functions to maximize productivity and maintain positive patient flow.
- Triage emergency patients and monitor hospitalized patients.
- Perform patient laboratory tests and nursing care.
- Assist with surgeries and procedures.
- Communicate with clients about individualized pet health concerns and offer guidance on Thrive Membership options, medications, and additional treatments.
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive medical records.
- 2+ years of experience as a Licensed Veterinary Technician.
- Exceptional technical skills, including venipuncture, IV catheter placement, and radiographic positioning.
- Ability to handle, lift, and restrain animals, and stand for long periods.
- Knowledge of basic veterinary practices, procedures, and terminology.
- Strong organizational and computer skills.
