Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at the University of Washington. As a Behavioral Health Nurse in our Civil Commitment Unit, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and ensuring the safety and well-being of our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Triage incoming patients and provide timely and effective care
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care coordination
  • Monitor and administer medications as prescribed by physicians
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families to promote healthy behaviors and outcomes
Requirements
  • Current RN licensure in the state of Washington
  • Experience working in behavioral health or psychiatric settings
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
