Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our Behavioral Health team at MultiCare Health System. As an LPN in this role, you will provide exceptional care to patients with complex behavioral health needs.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care utilizing the nursing process in accordance with the Washington State Practical Nurse Act
  • Commit to professional development as an integral part of nursing practice
  • Collaborate with the nursing team to facilitate overall improvement in quality of care, patient experience, and cost reduction
  • Foster a learning environment for patients/families, nursing staff, and members of the health care team
  • Advocate for ethical and holistic care promoting the autonomy, dignity, and health of patients from diverse ethnic and social backgrounds
Requirements
  • Current Licensed Practical Nurse in Washington State or Multistate license endorsement (MLS)
  • Previous experience as an LPN, in an acute care setting within the last three (3) years preferred
  • Experience in assigned specialty, or successful completion of a specialty focused residency post hire
  • Successful completion of appropriate competencies for assigned specialty
  • Current BLS required
