Job Title: Lead Engineer, Cellular RF Systems

We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Engineer, Cellular RF Systems to join our team at Kyocera International, Inc. This is a unique opportunity to work on cutting-edge cellular RF systems and lead a team of engineers to develop and maintain these systems.

Job Summary:

The Lead Engineer, Cellular RF Systems will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing cellular RF systems for various wireless products. This includes leading a team of engineers to ensure that RF systems are designed and optimized for optimal performance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and optimize cellular RF systems for wireless products.
  • Lead a team of engineers to ensure that RF systems are designed and optimized for optimal performance.
  • Develop and maintain RF system requirements and specifications.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including software and hardware engineers, to ensure that RF systems are integrated and evaluated properly.
  • Collaborate with vendors to ensure that RF components and modules are selected and integrated properly.
  • Develop and maintain test plans and procedures for RF systems.
  • Analyze and troubleshoot RF system issues and provide solutions.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for RF systems and provide training to other engineers and stakeholders, as necessary.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends and advancements in RF technology.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in electrical engineering or a related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in designing and optimizing cellular RF systems.
  • Experience leading a team of engineers to develop RF systems.
  • Strong understanding of cellular network architecture and protocols.
  • Experience with RF simulation tools and software.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Familiarity with test equipment, such as spectrum analyzers, signal generators, and network analyzers.
