Position Overview

Role Summary:

The Financial Analyst will report directly to the Fluids NA Division Controller, providing essential analytical support to the division.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyze historical and current financial data to assess the company's fiscal health.
  • Prepare comprehensive reports backed by data to assist management in making informed strategic decisions.
    • Collaborate and work independently to analyze data by extracting and defining pertinent information.
    • Conduct profitability analyses on customer and product mix, procurement, inventory, and financial metrics.
    • Develop financial models to enhance understanding of how manufacturing activities impact financial outcomes.
    • Generate necessary reports and analyses for various Plant sites and regions.
  • Create financial forecasts and models to predict business performance and profitability.
    • Lead the Annual Planning process, monthly forecasts, and long-range planning initiatives.
  • Assess financial risks linked to investment decisions.
    • Identify critical issues and develop metrics for effective quantification.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to pinpoint analytical opportunities that add value.
  • Prepare timely reports to identify discrepancies in datasets and propose business rules for management.
  • Provide analytical expertise and develop tools for data analysis to address business challenges.
  • Willingness to travel domestically up to 20%.
  • Perform additional duties as required.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Business, or Accounting (or equivalent experience/CPA/CMA).
  • Minimum of 5 years in a similar analytical role.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Demonstrated analytical and strategic skills.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities, with a knack for timely resolution of issues.
  • Ability to work autonomously while seeking guidance when necessary.
  • Effective oral communication skills, capable of clear and persuasive dialogue.
  • Strong written communication skills, with the ability to present numerical data clearly and interpret written information.
  • Detail-oriented with the capacity to manage multiple tasks and projects efficiently.
  • Ability to communicate and interpret data effectively across all team levels.
