Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain a clean and organized reception area, ensuring a professional environment for all visitors.
  • Greet and direct residents, families, and visitors, providing assistance and information as needed.
  • Answer incoming calls, take messages, and forward calls to the appropriate department or individual.
  • Provide clerical support, including creating resident admission forms, business letters, and other documents as required.
  • Assist with various administrative tasks, such as photocopying, folding, cutting, and laminating.
  • Ensure confidentiality and security of all clerical information, adhering to Hooverwood and HIPAA policies.
  • Sell meal tickets to employees and guests, balancing the meal box at the beginning and end of each shift.
  • Follow proper protocol for emergency codes, including fire alarms and security procedures.
  • Responsible for the security of all visitors, including requesting employees to show their purses or bags for inspection.
  • Lock and unlock the front door at designated times, ensuring the facility is secure.
  • Assist with logging residents in and out, notifying the IDT Group of resident passes, and redirecting confused residents to their designated areas.
Requirements:
  • High school degree or equivalent.
  • Friendly and customer service-oriented personality.
  • Stable prior work history.
  • Working knowledge of computers, including Microsoft Office skills.
